Hello!
My name is Ashleigh Varney, and I am currently attending Central Michigan University! I grew up in a super small rural town named Jonesville where there isn’t much to look at besides farm fields and cows. I have three older siblings who are all basically married, so I consider my two brother in laws and my sister in law my siblings too. My family has had a huge influence in who I am as a person, and I wouldn’t be at CMU without them!
In my free time I like to be involved with anything with music. Music is hands down my favorite thing in the whole entire world. I love everything about it. There isn’t a genre I don’t find appreciation and love for, and I love listening to music as much as I love to play music. I also enjoy being outside and being active. I have never been able to sit still, so I like to go for walks or runs often, and I also like to dance at every second possible. I consider myself an extremely extroverted person, and I love to be around others as much as possible. The thing I care about most in the world is educating myself. I love to be an advocate for others and for the planet, and that is most easily attainable when informed.
