Every year 40 incoming freshman are selected to receive the Leadership Advancement Scholarship (LAS). Recipients of LAS all live together their freshman year and take a few classes together in order to enhance their leadership. Along with living in Barnes Hall, recipients have protocol throughout the years that include being involved in RSOs, completing volunteer hours, and completing this blog. Through this scholarship I have already met some of my best friends and had the chance to expand my leadership skills. I am eternally grateful that this scholarship has brought me to some of the most amazing people.
